Lovix Chapter 1

"This place doesn't look familiar at all," she muttered. 

A sound from the trees made her jump. Not a sound, exactly, more like a magical energy of some sort. A strange orb that floated through the sky and into one of the trees.

"Who are you? Who's there?"

There was no response, but from a nearby tree, shadows crept. They blended in perfectly with the trees, but the areas they passed over left a shimmering trail behind them. And from the trees, the mysterious person readied a magical defense orb.

"I said, who's there?!"

Suddenly the shadows attacked, swift and quick. But the girl, still camouflaged in the trees, created a magical shield around Rebecca. She looked around and touched the shield with her finger. But her finger went right through the shield, because it was meant to keep non-magical  beings from going through.

"That can't be possible..." she whispered. "What is this?"

With a snap of her fingers, the girl sent Rebecca's soul back to her body, and she awoke in her own bed. The girl reappeared in Alfea's forest and went to the beach, while the girl woke...

Rebecca's Bedroom

Rebecca brushed her fingers through her brown hair and sat up slowly. "That was a weird dream," she said. "Maybe I should go to the beach."

She grabbed her swim bag and went through it one last time, a strand of brown hair falling into the bag. Rebecca simply placed the hairstrand on her bed and zipped the bag shut. She got dressed in a grey t-shirt and jean shorts, plus some sandals, and headed out with her swimsuit inside the bag.

Rebecca picked up a new bottle of sunscreen and sprayed it onto her arms as she neared the beach. About 20 feet away, the mysterious girl lay on a beach towel. She had blonde hair and pale blue eyes and was wearing a pale pink outfit.

Rebecca saw a mysterious orb near the girl, and she actually dropped the sunscreen. But when she reached for it again, it began to float above her head and the girl turned around. (her name is Lexi, btw.)

Lexi snapped her fingers and the sunscreen landed in Rebecca's hands. A bit of the cream landed on her finger, but she simply rubbed the sunscreen on her leg and looked over at Lexi.

"That orb is from my dream. Which means, so is she. She's the girl from my dream.."

Soon enough, Lexi packed up her things and walked back to town. She wanted to simply fly there as a Believix fairy, but nobody should know who she really was. 

As she approached the Cafe, Rebecca saw Lexi sitting near the counter. 

"Hey Lexi," another girl said. "What do you want to eat?"

Lexi shrugged and took out her phone. "Hey, Jinx. A pizza and a milkshake, I guess."

As Jinx went into the kitchen to retrieve Lexi's order, Rebecca sat down next to Lexi and looked at the menu to appear busy.

"Hi," Lexi said. "Are you going to tell me about your dream?"

Rebecca looked up from the menu and her mouth dropped open. "I never told anyone about that. You were there, weren't you?"

Lexi nodded. "There's something we need to show you, Jinx and I. I'm Lexi, btw."

Rebecca nodded and braced herself.

Alfea Forest

"This barrier is designed to keep out non-magical beings," Lexi explained. "Let's see if you can pass through."

Rebecca walked through the barrier and turned back to face Lexi and the other girl- Jinx, she thought. 

"Rebecca, you're a fairy. The barrier allowed you to pass."

Rebecca laughed, but there was no humor in it, really. She stayed where she was, even as the other two girls walked through the barrier. It was as if the barrier did not exist for them, either. 

"So your little barrier does work," she said. "And I'm a..."

"Yep," Jinx said as they started to walk inside.

It didn't take that long, but soon the girls met up with a very strange woman. She had short brown hair which was crazy neat, and tiny glasses that were a beautiful shade of dark blue. But her outfit.... jeez, that was the opposite of fashionable.

"Girls, who is this?" she asked.

Rebecca took a step back. "My name is Rebecca, I would like to apply for classes."

The strange woman wrote something down on her clipboard and nodded. "Classes start in 2 weeks, Miss Rebecca. Do try and be on time."

"How about we meet up at Rebecca's house in two weeks to help her pack?" Jinx suggested. 

Two Weeks Later

"Sweet," Lexi said. "Right outside the door."

They walked through the door and past Griselda, who checked them off and allowed them to walk to their dorm.

"Phew," Rebecca muttered. "That lady scares me."

"Never mind," Lexi replied. "We have the same dorm."

Later in the forest, Rebecca is attacked by three witches named Shadow, Tundra, and Ivy (these three canon witches with new names and histories: Olivia Dark Sirenix, Hecate Dark Sirenix, Endora Dark Sirenix) and that night, she sneaks out of Alfea because she does not feel like she belongs.
